LUUUUUUUUUCY!

Several of you know that my order of my much needed and much loved SPARK got delivered to the wrong address and then either someone stole the package or FEDEX lost it.  So I've been without my wonderful energy elixer for almost 3 weeks now folks.
 THREE WEEKS!
A girl with my kind of schedule cannot handle such torture.
Well as I was walking through my kitchen contimplating making a pot of coffee - let's not even talk about coffee, mmmkkay - I heard a large truck pull up.  I ran to the front door and frolicked outside practically dancing with joy that the FEDEX man was here.  I even was happily singing yelling,
THE FEDEX MAN! THE FEDEX MAN! THE FEDEX MAN!
all the while he's standing with his back to me getting my paper work ready for me to sign.
I proceeded to sing... okay, YELL
THE FEDEX MAN, THE FEDEX MAN, THE fedex woman????
Oh...........
Um...........
Right.........
the fedex woman. OH LOOK HONEY it's a fedex WOMAN!

Singing the song didn't really seem appropriate after the blunder of calling her a man.  But thats what you get for wearing all that drab navy blue and tucking your french braid up.

Hee hee.

LOVE ME SOME LARA

I absolutely love Lara Croft.  Always have.  The video games are just awesome and the character is just all that and a bag of chips.  I think there is nothing more attractive than a woman who can kick butt and do it all while looking hot.
Just saying...

AND THE GUNS!  I LOVE GUNS!

I just may have to be her for Halloween.

Fitness is so important.  And I'm not talking this picture perfect barbie-doll kind of fitness where you bounce on a treadmill for 10 minutes and then call it good. I mean strong, lean and chiseled.  That's my ideal for fitness.  I say all this to talk myself out of making a cake today. HA HA!

~ EDIT ~
The Giada de Laurentiis in me won out over the Lara Croft.  I'm currently baking a cake.

DELIZIOA!

In the great words of Larry the cucumber...

I LOVE MY LIPS!

Just days after my serious allergy to the beloved MANGO, my lips are almost healed.  In fact they just feel really dry.  But the swelling and blisters are gone and they're back to normal.

I keep them slathered with vaseline and that seems to make them feel all better.  Thanks to all of you who have called, commented, texted and FB messaged me with your suggestions.  I may try other ways of eating the forbidden fruit in the future but it will be a long while because I don't think I could handle another reaction like that for awhile.  Just too chancy for me at this point.

The Forbidden Fruit

rI desire it's juicy, succulent sweetness.  The flavor is far above every other fruit.  I love it freshly sliced, juiced, blended into smoothies or combined with intense peppers to make an exotic salsa.  It calls to me in the produce isle and I will pay high prices even out of season for the delicious, mouth watering goodness.

How I crave the ever pleasing
MANGO

Oh don't tempt me!

But alas we were meant to be strangers living side by side (name that movie).
I have developed an intense allergy where my lips go all Angelia Jolie on me and blister. Except it's painful.

I know, I know - it's so very sad.  Any of my friends or long time readers know my passion for this succulent delight.
AND NO, YOU MOST DEFINITELY DON'T GET A PICTURE TODAY.
You'll just have to take my word.

Inspiring!

Check out the latest post from Lisa today at MooreMinutes.  Her words are so inspiring that I felt that you all could use a little bit of Lisa to brighten up your day.  So enjoy! And Lisa thank you for your wisdom that reminds us all daily what we as woman can and should be.

Currently...

dreaming of this

Bora Bora has been compared to that of “a tiny emerald in a setting of turquoise, encircled by a sheltering necklace of sparkling pearls”

I've decided that Bora Bora is on the top of my places to visit among many others.

LUUUUUUUUUCY!

Don't tell my husband I made a popsicle out of my phone okay?

This morning I couldn't find my iPhone anywhere.  I ended up finding it in the
DEEP FREEZE.
OOooops!  I was getting peaches out to make a peach cobbler and must have laid it down inside.
